It occurs every 15-20 minutes. There is no name and the icon is generic to the program. It can't be right-clicked on because it is gone too fast. I can't see anything unusal in my running processes and my virus and adaware show up clean every time. It doesn't seem to affect my computer, but if I am running a game or something, it will switch back to windows.

Hi Wacky......

You may have more malware issues than can be effectively dealt with in this limited format. There may be specific removal tools and protocols needed for you specific problem. I would recommend you visit and post your problem at one of the FREE on line tech help sites.

There are quite a few, excellent, sites available where volunteers experienced in these issues can more specifically help you. Two that I'm involved with are:

Good luck.

Check Processes in your Task Manager and see what is running. If you see something odd that shouldn't be there then that is your culprit. May not be a virus. Could be an improperly uninstalled program or an installed program. Check Add/Remove programs too to see if there are any programs that you haven't installed.

yes, nowaday, spywares outsmart adaware or antivirus program. since i don't know your computer knowledge, so i assume your knowledge is ok, you can try to delete all cookies and internet files. just go to your internet explore choose Tools-->internet options, and click delete cookies and delete files, then click ok to close the window. then go to the control panel---> add or remove programs --> remove the program you have never installed, but unless you know what you are doing, i suggest don't really touch here otherwise you might uninstall some software you need. i hope it can help you.

You need to be more specific on what you see, and does your computer do anything different after?
