He stole two elections already; what's to prevent him from planning a fake terrorist attack and then imposing martial law so that he can claim the need to remain in power until the "evil empire" is terminated.

Bush is a cowboy. He "served" in the military just so he could fly a jet fighter (his daddy got him out of any real duty). He started this illegal and unconstitutional war with Iraq only to get 'even' with Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm, and because Big Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands.

Just as Bush used to go on alcohol binges, he's now "drunk" with power and isn't easily going to walk away just because the law says he has to (after all, he's abandoned the U.S. Constitution and become a law unto himself while he battles this "war on terrorism").

No, I don't believe Bush will leave peacefully. He will use his family's money and influence to challenge the end of his reign in the Supreme Court, or create some horrible disaster so that he can remain in power (unless, of course, another member of the Bush dynasty - Jeb or Neil - decides they want a crack as being Prez0.

Bush and his administrative leaders are by far the most evil, corrupt, incompetent sub-humans ever to occupy the White House, complemented by an equally evil, incompetent and corrupt U.S. Congress. They all should be impeached, or tried for high treason. If convicted, they should face a firing squad.

So, the answer is to vote in the Democrats, correct? Nosiree, Bob! Then you're just replacing evil, corrupt incompetent Republicans with evil, corrupt, incompetent Democrats.

ThomasJefferson once said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." That time is overdue. We need a second American Revolution in this country.

But unless we get off the couch, put down the remote, and stop listening to all the damn talking heads, we will never summon enough courage or fortitude to stand up and reclaim our country. It's time, America.....

Politicians distract us with such trivia as gay marriage, flag-burning, and religious issues. Instead of all this emotional crap that isn't any of the government's business anyway, they should deal with the real issues that plague this country: the environment; term limits for politicians; the corruption of our sacred political system; and the return of statesmen to the hallowed halls of Congress who understand they are our public servants, not some kind of lavishly-paid royalty. -RKO-

Rosi - maybe you should do a little research before throwing out old Fox "News" rumors that were proven false:

"According to the GAO's Bernard Ungar, "There was no [White House] record kept of any cords being cut or any damage to computers or copiers-- in general there was no proof of anything matching the allegations" (Associated Press, 5/18/01). In short, physical inspections of the buildings did not reveal any obvious damage, and the Bush White House could not document the specific charges that had been made.

Fox's initial reaction was to disown the story. Anchor Tony Snow even offered a partial apology (Fox News Sunday, 5/20/01): "The General Services Administration reported last week that, rumors to the contrary, members of the Clinton administration did not trash the White House or despoil Air Force One, at least according to the evidence available. In response, the ex-president's supporters have besieged pundits like me, folks who rushed to judgment, demanding apologies. OK, I'm sorry.... The ex-president's pals have a legitimate beef."

That leaves little more than "inoperable keyboards"-- i.e., missing W's-- and handmade signs poking fun at Bush-- what Fleischer calls "graffiti." Those stories were long ago confirmed by Democrats and were never described as "vandalism" or "looting" in the media-- including on Fox. To portray them as some kind of retroactive corroboration for the fevered stories about "the trashing of the White House" stretches credulity."

Oh, and as far as the question goes..... The neocons don't need Chimpy in the White House. They can use anyone who will follow orders, and act the part, like Reagan did for instance. Bush may have some dictatorship illusions, but he will learn that once the neocons who are the power behind the throne have no more use for him, he'll be easily replaced. Why would they risk civil war for an idiotic front man like him?

I think I get the point of your question, even though you may have posed it in a way that neocons will roundly ridicule the question. By the way I am amazed how many in this little survey bother to respond. It only points out how threatened they must feel. Anyway with that said, neocon failed before it started but unfortunately neocons, few as they are, know how to get media attention. Once the majority understands the ignorance of the concept, will neocons take the position they deserve in our society, the toilet.

Reign of terror? Failed? What planet do you live on?

And yes, Bush will no longer be President after January 2009. That's how the system works. Are you not aware of the system of government, or are you purposely acting like you're ignorant for the purpose of being a drama queen?

Hmmm, I vote for drama queen.

no the war powers act gives him authority to do what ever is necessary to defend america from terroism and if the new guy is going to end the war bush will step up and remain till someone can properly battle the terrorists as he has done.IT is his families right to rule america after all the years of family service given to america and he beleives he desrves to be king. his dad will pass just before the election as a sign for republicans to realy get out and vote george will lose it completely and refuse to leave the white house.

Of course, but I will guess that all of the computer keyboards will be left intact, and the White House will be left ready for the next occupants unlike when Clinton left. Oh, and the good-byes will not take all day long. This is an honorable man, unlike his predecessor.

Of course he will. GOD bless the fact that he was there on 9/11/01 and NOT Al Gore!!!!!!!!!! People like you just can't stand the fact that 95% of what's gone on since then, he's been right on, and just for my own opinion, folks like you continually say how dumb and ignorant he and his cronies are, then in the next breath, complain about all the conspiracies in his administration. Which is the right answer? Is he dumb, or a genuis? You can't have it both ways.

Bush has no choice but to step down after this term, you can only serve two. However, he didnt fail technically, only politically. He did what needed to be done, no one else had the balls to.
