Not exactly sure what a NEFF cooker is, but if it's electric, it could be one of the following, 1: - Not plugged in, 2: - Breaker tripped, (fuse blown), 3: - Open wire connection in cord, 4: - Worn out or defective, thermostat or element. There are ways to check these things, but you need some basic knowledge of electricity and some basic tools. If you want to pursue it further, email, fixit@net-link.net.

Check that the door is closing properly, as if not there is a interlock swith to prevent it staying on when open, mostly to prevent people baking their heads.
