Sorry about your losss
do NOT have sex until Gyn Md says so- if too soon and uterus not healed.. you could get a really painful infection which can spread to the fallopian tubes causing scarring
bleeding should slow down from red->to pink_> to white WITHOUT foul odor

The bleeding varies on the persons body. It usually lasts a week or so, but I would ask your doctor to be on the safe side. Everyone is different.
As far as getting pregnant again, there isn't a "safe" time. There was a reason you lost the first one. You need to wait at least two or three months before trying to attempt another pregnancy and when you do become pregnant, take precautions!!!
Good Luck, and I am sorry for your loss.

Didn't a Dr. Let you know how long the bleeding would be? it really depends on your blood. Having a miscarriage is just like actually having the baby - according the doctor's. So let's say that a woman actually had a baby, the safest time for her to conceive again would be after 6 weeks/1 1/2 months-give or take BUT In your case I would wait at least 8 weeks/2 months just to be sure.....

I have also had 2 miscarriages in the past, and a D & C with each. Each miscarriage is different, just like each women's body is different. The average time of bleeding after a D &C id about 6 weeks. For my first one, it lasted about 8 weeks, but my second only lasted 4 weeks.
It is recommened to wait anywhere from 6 months to 1 year after a miscarriage to become pregnant again. The too main factors are when your body is ready, and when you are ready. A miscarriage can be very difficult, and everythign may seem fine at first, but chance latter. You may feel ready to become pregnant as soon a spossible, but please give it some time.
After a full term pregnancy, the recommended time to wait to become pregnant again is about 1 year. The same is pretty much for a miscarriage. However, a soon as 3 months after a miscarriage really wont do any harm,as long as you are getting good medical care and are takling care of yourself.
Sorry for you loss, and good luck!

First of all I want to say how sorry I am. I can't imagine what you are going through. My prayers go out to you and your family. Second the bleeding shouldn't last only but about a week and any longer you should call your doctor. After about 3 months you should be safe to start trying to get pregnant again. I hope this helps.

It will last anywhere from a week to 3 weeks. Doctors want you to wait a least 2 months before getting pregnant again. That way your body will heal and your chances of carry a full term baby will be greater.

I am sorry for your lose. Now is the time to really take care of yourself. Listen to your Gyn...he know better then us. However, as far as trying to get pregnant again I believe that you should never make a decision while you are upset. Let your hormones get back to normal and then think about trying again.
Good luck to you!

Did your doctor not explain anything to you? You should wait a few months or longer before getting pregnant again.
