Why? He's such a great player! Well, i bet its cuz he quit as captain today, he had een captain for 6 years and he felt ready to quit. If only he hadn't gotten injured int he game, and Rooney hadn't lost his temper, England would have won! :(

Well he resigned as England's captain today....this morning actually I saw it myself on BBC...I laughed......he sucks except for set pieces

I'm not so sure, but they might just be angry that his team won against one of their teams or something. Or maybe he accidentally hurt someone. I don't really know, but that's my best advice.
