When you're pregnant your body produces a hormone that is detectable in urine and in blood. The farther along you are the stronger the hormone is. They were just saying that even though you may not quite be showing yet, you are more than 2 or 3 weeks pregnant. Don't feel alone. If your parents still love you then talk to them. Getting things in the open is much better than suprises.

High pregnancy hormones can mean several things. First of all, they show that your baby is healthy and doing great! Secondly, they can sometimes indicate that you are pregnant with twins. This is definitely not always the case. Hormone levels vary so much from person to person that two women might have the same level, even if one is pregnant with twins and one with just one baby. If you are curious, you can call a pregnancy care center near you and ask if they can arrange for you to receive a free ultrasound, and then you will know for sure. :) You can find one near you here:

Not all centers have ultrasound machines, but if the one you call does not, they may be able to refer to another that does.
Of course your parents still love you! That is the way parents are. They always love their children, even if their child does something that upsets them. Just remember that you can't change the past, but you can do right from here on out. Keep yourself and your baby healthy. I know the baby's grandma and grandpa are going to fall in love with their grandchild she is born! Also, remember that you are not alone. You have your baby inside you and you are keeping her safe and warm. She can feel every beat of your heart. :)

What that doctor did should be illegal! Thats personal information! Don't feel bad everything will work out in the end. You'll probably love having your daughter/son around when she's born and wonder how you lived without her.

Well first of all why didn't you just tell your parents in the first place? I mean if they still love you now I think they may have taken it even better if you told them in person. But anyways that's all the advice I can give you but I wish I could give you more.

If you're a minor and pregnant, I think the Dr. had every right to let your parents know.
Anyways, don't worry about having the baby, just be glad that your parents love you. If they don't support you, then forget them, surround yourself with people that care and support you and everything will be alright.

You did a very foolish and irresponsible thing, and now you have to face the consequenses. As for you loneliness problem, I hope that you friends have not abandoned you, because of your pregnancy. This would be cruel, and I would start looking for other friends. See if they have support groups in your locality to mingle with people who are in the same fix as you. Good luck to you.

That's horrible, he shouldn't have done that. As a matter of fact, I think it's illegal that he told them. It could be your pregnancy hormones that are elevating your feelings of loneliness. I hope that you will get to feeling better. Just hang in there.
And don't listen to the first chick to answer you, there's nothing funny about your situation.
