In terms of the film versions, which do you prefer and why?

I Love them both but I gotta pick Lord of the Rings
It's got more action

Lord of the Rings. I was never interested in the Harry Potter books or movie

I would have to say Lord of the Rings cuz it wasn't rushed, it had the same director for all three so it kept it very consistent and even though Peter Jackson took liberties in the screen play he kept the feel very similar to the books, whereas some stuff that was left out of the Harry Potter movie - at least this last one - were WAY too important to the plot and it really makes me wonder how they are going to make it up in the next movies ...

I love both of them but Harry Potter hands down! The Lord of the Rings movies are good but sometimes drao out too long. On the other hand, the Harry Potter movies keep you on the edge of your seat and aren't dragged out.

I'd have to say Lord of the Rings. I love Harry Potter, but the movies have butchered the books so badly, it's hard to enjoy them. Besides, Viggo Mortenson is hot.
