No:

A laser printer is a common type of computer printer that reproduces high quality text and graphics on plain paper. Laser printers employ a xerographic printing process but differ from most photocopiers in that the image is produced by the direct scanning of a laser beam across the printer's internal drum.

Inkjet printers are a type of computer printer that operates by propelling tiny droplets of liquid ink onto paper. They are the most common type of computer printer for the general consumer due to their low cost, high quality of output, capability of printing in vivid color, and ease of use

actually, inkjet, laserjet or whatever it calls is using liquid ink to print; however, laser printer is using toner. So, laser printer is always has the highest quality for printing opposite to inkjet. for example, if you print your resume with inkjet printer, you can tell the word is not in perfect sharp, but laser printer can print it just like newspaper or any publishing magazine. i, personally, use laser printer for all documents and resumes, because it looks more profession.
