Try pinhead crickets, wingless fruitflies, or baby earthworms. Baby grass snakes are hard to care for because they are so small and most of the captive foods we have available are so large but the pineads and the fruitflies should help. Baby earthworms are hard to find but occassionally Petco and Petsmart carry earthworms that are very small. I used them to feed my baby box turtle and he was no larger than a nickel. Small wax worms and baby silk worms are also a good food to offer. Make sure that you offer more than one food to the snake to vary it's diet and to make sure proper nutrition is attained. Feed the pinhead crickets for at least 3 days on fresh greens before you feed to the snakes so that you can boost their nutritional content.

Make sure you provide enough water for them but in a dish that they won't drown in. By provising rocks in the water dish this will give them leverage to get back out. You can also put baby guppies in the water as grass snakes are known to sometimes eat fish when they can catch them.

Temps should be between 80*F-85*F and hiding spots such as overturned clay pots should be provided.

**Do not feed meal worms or superworms to baby snakes as the worms can cause injury to the snake by biting it. Baby snakes are more fragile than adults.

Baby grass?????
Sorry....I could not resist.
No seriously all the things that the other responders have mentioned. Just be sure they are very small size so your snake can swallow them.

They just eat smaller insects and bugs.
Try to make sure they are live prey.
Good luck.
