Right now, the Mets. Come October, the Yankees will be crushing their opponents, and the Mets will be sitting on the couch moping.

The Mets are the better team this year due to injury of the Yankee outfield corners and the yankees poor pitching. However, if the Mets were in the AL, I think they would have a worse record that the yankees at this point as the yankees have found a way to stay competitive so far.

Hate to admit it but the Mets have a great team this year. They have a good balance of rookies and veterans. Also it sounds like there is a good atmosphere in the clubhouse. The guys all seem to like playing with one another...the morale is just awesome. The Yankees seem to be all business plus they're all banged up and aging (not dissing them, it's the truth...I am a Yankees fan)
The Mets are the real deal and so much fun to watch.

Excluding injuries, the Yankees have a stirdier starting rotation and a veteran lineup chock full of power hitters and clutch players. As youthful and exciting as the Mets have been so far this season, you still have to side with the experienced Yankee team.

The Mets because Pedro Martinez is the best pure pitcher ever to play the game. Even if the Yankees are his daddy....

I am a die hard Yankee fan, but all in all, the Mets are kicking some serious butt this year. They have a great team. Let's hope for a subway series!!!

The METS all the way.....I have been a METS fan all my life....and this year the Yankees are playing sooo badly compared to the way they usually play....I love the METS, I think their awesome and they are playing really well this year...Pedro Martinez is a great pitcher and when the METS got rid of Matsui, I think it was one of the best trades given.
