I just feel its part of our nature to explore and we need to create future options. Good luck to all in NASA and these astronauts are either very brave or very crazy. Most likely both.

I am biased when it comes to the argument of whether the space programmes are worth the amount being spent on it. There are discoveries being made each day by NASA, and it adds on to our scientific knowledge. Why can't the money NASA is spending be used to something more humane, like poverty? This question was asked many times, with unsatisfactory answers. Perhaps NASA will one day use space technology to save planet Earth from devastating meteors.

The same as the way I feel about the money spent to explore the Western US in the Early 18th and 19th centuries and to explore the world's oceans and to explore the Arctic and Antarctic continents as well as volcano, hurricane, tornado, earthquakes, global warming, nuclear power, biological sciences, medical sciences etc (you get the idea, I'm sure)

I'm not watching it. I don't believe that much money is being spent to explore space as much is being spent to play WAR GAMES with other countries for no reason.
WE might have to live in space if these war games keep happening.

HI,

They say that what makes the difference between us and animals is the curiosity and the possibility to follow and fulfill our dreams. I suppose that discovering new things and asking ourselves questions is something that we should do.

As Piccard said this is our mission, to bouldly go where nobody(human) has gone before :)
