The players constantly crying and playing hurt is because they know that the ref's react to it. Letting them play will stop all of that drama by the players (which is really annoying to me). There have been to many matches determined by ref calls, which is a problem. They need to watch for the offsides, and the truly vicious fouls.

Refs were a huge factor coming into the world cup as well. As long as FIFA stays as corrupt as it is under the Swiss rule of Sepp Blatter this will continue. They unfairly made sure that Switzerland qualified. Then they even took Switzerland all the way to the round of 16 with the same tactics. In almost every game there were bad calls. I am Italian but we won with an unjustified PK against Australia, Brazil scored an offside goal against Japan, there are so many examples. It is sad. Quit making this beautiful game dirty.

This whole world cup has been determined by the refs. Look at all the cards, giving red cards when its a questionable yellow. Yellow cards when it should have just been a free kick. FIFA is trying to be more strict, but this is out of the line. And there shouldn't be any more refs. When they ref a game they do it to there best, or worse in some of your minds. And about the whole drama thing with players just falling there looking for any edge they can get. For example no one every complains in a hockey game when the player dives and it really looks like a trip. Yea soccer is a classy sport, but when your playing to win giving it 110% every time you step foot onto the pitch your going to whatever it takes for to win. And if the refs are going to call it, then so be it. It has been a great world cup, yea a few games have came out in a different way do to reffing, but the final four teams deserve to be where they are, you have to have a little luck and alot of skill to be where they are.

Cheaters and con-artists have been too much of a factor in the WC. Ronaldo, Henry, Ballack, the list goes on and the poor refs are the guys taking all the heat. Now, some of the refs are out of their depth but they are not helped by the cheats.

This world cup has set a record for the most bookings and had done so befor ethe quater final matches...so of course the refs are far too active...the majority of their cards are make up calls for shitty calls they made earlier in the game. all the blame can't go on their shoulders though...they're under such extreme pressure from FIFA to preform well on the grandest of stages that if they miss something they feel they have to scramble to make uup for it. the U.S. Italy game comes to mind where it was 9 on ten for the entire second half thats four red cards in the first half...dispicable. but like i said even though these are the best refs in the world FIFA is pushing so hard that they feel they need to assert their power and show who's in charge.

yes refree can not see somtimes the foul made by the player. might be baisness effect.
perhaps they need more training to become a good refree.
it is omportant because a single wrong decision can change the shspe of the match and lead deserving country to defeat.
sometimes players are pretending and it has been clear from the clippings that the player is doing overacting.so refree here gives the true decisions.
as world cup is going on in the europeon country so decision will go in favour of them like in korea ,korea went yo semifinal in 2002

Absolutely,the refs made huge mistakes,example Italy v Australia the penalty in the last minute that was bullshit I mean a 3 years old boy can recognize it!! totally agree with u!!

No, i think they caught some important attempted cheats. Sure its sucks when the team that was cheating was my favorite...but thats okay fair is fair lol. Sucks Brazil lost ! i was rooting for them cause i respect Ronaldo for coming back after an injury like that. In a way if he won, i'd feel like i might be able to win at stuff i hadn't done in awhile.
