What is the meaning of life? The question itself contains a word that is a misnomer. The word "life" should actually read "death" since this existence that we all like to call "life" is really "death." We all reside in the world of the dead, in "Hades" or "Hell," if you will. And of course, the dead know nothing, hence the reason we're continually asking "What is the meaning of life?" Since we're also inquiring of the dead, we get no sure replies.
Those receiving the gift of life and resurrected will no longer have to ask "What is the meaning of life?" Being alive, they also have knowledge and the answer to the question before it's even asked.

The meaning life holds for you is generally the meaning you give it. Find something you enjoy doing and see if you can make it your livelihood.
The point of living is to stay alive and to reproduce, at the biological level, just as it is for all other living things. As sentient beings, we are able to look for more than that. Sometimes that means we live more fulfilling lives, but sometimes it just means we're much more confused than the birds and the bees, who tend not to worry about much.
If someone is religious or holds other deep beliefs, that person will no doubt answer based on the ideology they ascribe to. I am not a religious person, so the meaning of life, for me, is in how best to give and receive love, how best to help end the suffering of others, how to improve as an artist, and how to leave the world a better place than it would have been without me.
This is meaning because I say it is, but some of the actions that give my life meaning have impact that I am not creating. Impacting the lives of others in a positive way is an amazing ripple effect and a powerful reason to live.
That doesn't solve the age-old problem of wondering if we are here for a special purpose beyond our ken, the creations of a deity, or just biological oddities that happen to be aware of their lives. But do you need to know the "big" answers to enjoy life, and to find purpose and meaning in it? I would say no, as there have been many great examples of human beings who found purpose in living and made a difference.
You can only touch a small, localized part of the human experience. Right here, right now. It's a time-limited offer... so grab on to something that gives you direction and makes you feel good, and run like the wind with it. :)

I know not all of you will agree with me here although the ones that beleive in Christ should. God made human beings the only ones that have a spirit and can communicate in ways which other animals cant The point of us all being here the reasoning would be to please God he made us as he relized that the animals couldnt show the Love that he was looking for and so be the reason for Adam then Eve came to be a helpmate for Adam one who would be company. so once again i wouldsayFOLLOW GOD

There are various categories of lives, some millions. We see some of them daily:- cats,dogs,serpents,insects, wild beasts, water animals,sky birds etc. It is said that Human life is the best form amongst these and best kind of the creation. It is given by the god to attain Nirvana ,and that's the meaning of Human life.

An age-old question. The meaning of life is what you make it to be for yourself. It can be devoting yourself to your job, your family, God, whatever makes you happy. That, for me, is the true meaning. Do what you must to be happy, for life is short.

in my opinion,the meaning of life is for man to pursue happiness and also help the man in need.the quran say life is like a vacation and when people take vacations they have to return home and if u do good in life heaven is gonna be your home ,but if u do bad hell is gonna be your home.
