Perhaps you need to answer those q's which you are an expert about something that you have a lot of life experience at those are the ones I try and answer and I have like 13 best answers out of 80 Q's.
Focus on the stuff you know really good!

Well, I checked out several of your answers to see if there was a pattern. You seem to either leave short, indecisive answers or long, politically motivated right wing rants. And you cuss a lot.
Try being clear, answering only questions you have a good knowledge base for, and sticking to rational responses rather than emotional outbursts. Then you'll probably get more "Best Answer"s! :)

You just have to try harder, that's all. Be patient, you're time will come.
I've gotten Best Answers for snotty comments and one liners. It's simple really, the more questions you answer, the higher the chance you'll be chosen as Best Answer.

Make sure that your answers are not too complex (the person asking the question must understand it), but also try not to make your answer to short like (yes, it is) thats not a best answer , try always to put the answer plus the reason why it is like that

Well I answered maybe 200 questions and I only have three best answers. I guess answer them to the best of your ability. Like use the wiki, source it, and just use common sense.
