zidane was the brains of the team during this world cup...especially in yesterdays game. however, ribery is a good players and as much as i hate henry, hes good too. i dont think france will be hopeless without zidane, but they will be missing a mastermind.

ps - argentina should have won.

French football was good before Zizou... He was a big part of helping them win in 1998... He may have inspired a youngster... France has younger players such as Henry, Ribery and Viera, etc... They may be strong for many year to come!

I think the french will still be an extremely strong football force.. they will find experienced young ( i know it sounds like an oxymoron) players who canbring power to the French team....and besides they will still have Henry and Ribery

i don't think they will do good because he is the big playmaker and is always making plays... he's kind of the point guard of soccer he makes everything happen but just doesn't score a lot.
