No one should go out of their way to correct your spelling mistakes, and everyone has a typo here and there, but it says something to me that you recognize your "bad spelling" and try to make excuses for it rather than fix it.
And you didn't seem to learn enough about it in school if you "didn't think it mattered until now." Those things you are/were taught in school are lessons you should be trying to apply - school is a federal mandate for all children, and is not meant to be a waste of time going through the motions and taking nothing from all that effort.

My spelling is terrible too. That's why I use spell check. Sometimes I go into my Microsoft word program if the check here can't find the right word for me. It's there because misspelled questions or answers are sometimes hard to read and are often misunderstood. The more you use it the more likely you are to become a better spelling. You can not get a decent job if you spell like a 3rd grader. A lot of teachers take points off of tests and homework for misspelled words. How can you even get into college or trade school if you can't write the papers that you will be asked to do. Some of these are done in the classroom with no computers around to help you. Anyway what is so hard about clicking on spell check?

This is in an inappropriate category.
People should at least TRY to spell correctly. It's hard for others to read when they spell like this:
So leik OMG dunnoe fi pregnaoft or nto.
We aren't mean, we're just trying to let people know that they're making themselves look and "sound" stupid.
By the way, it's "done", not "doen." There is a spell check button you can click, you know.

I think Lunagirl is right. When you are communicating in the written language, people are more apt to listen to you idea if your spelling is correct. "Spell Check" was created for a reason. If you think that the people are mean here, you should have had my high school English teacher. She could have made you cry.
On a further note...Lilly K--grow up. You sound like a five year old that can't have his way.

I'm not perfect. I don't plan to be. I try to be organized. I type so fast, I mess up half my words. I switch letters around. Some people can't even spell the simplest words right. Its common sense. I also don't use spell check when doing stuff. I find the mistake on my own. Its called Proofreading!

there is no thank you to sidestep the regulation of three, era. In theory, there are advice on a thank you to sidestep hexes and evil charms and spells from touchdown. One is so elementary as putting a hoop of salt around the homestead, retains out undesirable spirits and demons. yet another is to hold a sparkling quartz crystal on you physique, alongside with some hematite and a moon stone. they even have some enormously cool looking jewelery that is composed of all 3. there is likewise the smudging (aka burning in a secure manor to create smoke) of sage you're able to do around the homestead. yet, in all honesty right here, in case you have the threats in writing, i could circulate with, take them to courtroom, and get a restraining order. Then do no longer talk with this guy or woman anymore, like ever. with a bit of luck a style of issues will instruct you a thank you to.

before you submit your question click on spell check. It will show you every mistake you have and fix it for you with a click of a button. Then these types of errors can be avoided. You really should focus more on your grammar and vocabulary. Im not trying to be mean, just telling you that those are the keys to your future......seriously. Good luck.

This is not a question....and get over it....some people just cant spell....but if you want to get all offended and bothered...use the check spelling button at the top of the screen...otherwise...dont worry about it. My husband cant spell either, but he doesnt let it get to him...and a lot of times other people wont know what he is referring to, but I do, so just learn to deal with it...this is life....nobody said it would be perfect.

Most potential jobs require a resume and if the spelling is wrong you probably don't stand a snowball's chance in a wood stove of being hired. Good grammar and spelling are very important in most jobs.
