where was this magician during the last two months? it seems he did very little to live up to his name, or to enhance his name.
he played ineptly & impotently

Ronaldinho is an attacking midfielder, his job is playmaking n passing the ball correctly to the striker (ronaldo/adriano) where they can score..Ronaldinho needs support from his teammates where he can produce his fascinating skills in the midfield to get closer to the box where he can dribble n pass to either strikers.
and to all those who think ronaldinho is over rated, or a show off arrogant, u seriously has issues..Ronaldinho is by far the best player ever..he's the ony one to be titled the player of the year in 2 successive years..and i`m telling u he's taking his 3rd title..u better go watch some of his matches with barcelona where u can see "the show off skills" doing magic and letting Eto'o score !
as for the poor performance, not only from ronaldinho, but all brazilian player..u can only blame carlos alberto !! he's such a dumb coach..when he coached brazil to win the 1994 world cup the team was criticized about the poor performance

Well,Ronaldinho's job is to be a play maker,when his team takes the ball from the oponent he has to pass it a long or short pass,or even play over some players,when he tries to take the ball,that's just to keep it as far as possible from danger area!!!!

ronaldinho doesn't play defence because he is an attacking midfielder so he doesn't do the defending

i think he hardly defence when there is a need to , after all he is an attacking midfielder , probably the coach instructed him to stay at the second half of the field to wait for opportunities
