These three things don't necessarily belong in the same category.
The ego is a term coined by Sigmund Freud and properly belongs to the field of psychiatry. He postulates the Ego as being one aspect of the tripartite nature of the mind:
--the Unconscious
--the Ego, or conscious mind
--the Super-ego, an overlay of learned patterns that tries to control the other two.
The Soul is too vague a notion, and belongs to the realm of the mystical or the theistic. Nevertheless, it is interesting to note that many languages do not differentiate between "soul" and "mind": in French, for example, the word "âme" can refer to either, without necessarily a religious connotation.

No the ego is the opposite mover of the rational soul. You see its what drives you the opposite way of reality. Youre on track with the mind though but we cant know what the essense of the soul is

No soul is not ego -ego is an attitude a bit of puffed up pride or the thing that makes u hurt when ur called names a state of mind but not thee mind.. soul is your spirit ur inner being that will not die -flesh will but not soul.. mind well its mostly fatty matter that can die it is physical matter

no the mind has to do with free will, the soul has to do with hearing God and the ego usually has to do with human arrogance

no the mind is generated by the brain ,both the physical body and mental body's(ego,intellect,etc)are superimposed on the soul (self)
