I keep hot rod magazines and Mental Floss magazine in my car for my son and myself for traffic jams and they are easy to grab when I wait in a business office.
I keep a basket in the house with 'stuff' I need to get to and when I am 'killing time' I go through them when I am on lunch break at work, etc. I cut out only the interesting stuff and paste it in my planner or set aside to scan or file.

When I get bored, I either go help my parents, or visit with them, watch TV, play on my comp or come here to answers, or I sleep. I can always find something to do.

I usually call my friends. When no body's home I go out somewhere. I go shopping for things that I need a lot. It's easier to go buy things you need to when you're bored than when you are actually having fun.
