Since 1999, "Dr. Death" is serving a 10 to 25 year sentence for second-degree homicide in a Michigan prison.

During the trial, he dismissed his lawyers and tried to defend himself. The prosecution was able do demonstrate that one of Kevorkian's "patients" wasn't physically able to kill himself, thus "Dr. Death" wasn't charged with "assisted suicide", as in earlier cases, but with homicide.

I seem to recall He went to court over some of the assisted suicides many times and got off of most of them but was finally convicted and sent to jail do not recall what state and how long he was sentenced to

i believe he went to prison in Michigan, for helping someone commit suicide, which is against the law... i believe he was a saint, helping terminally ill people, that were in unbelievable pain, and could not endure life anymore... he helped them end their misery, and unbelievable daily pain...
