baldy old git, get over it, if I could return I would, but I can't.

Just shows how ignorant you and your people are.

Ek mis my familie en vrinne. But most of all the fact that you can get drunk on a few bucks. When I told my friends in Korea that I could buy a six pack of beers 5 or 6 bucks, they wanted to move there.

I also miss sitting in a decent restaurant, like Spur. Where your every need is catered for and you can have a blast for no reason at all. Just because you wanna have lunch or dinner. Oh and I really miss sundowners. When getting off work and all the boys go and have a drink.

I think the SUNDOWNER is what I miss the most.

Kom terug! Alles is lekker hier in Suid Afrika.
That's where my Afrikaans ends lol.
Ek eet 'n pap en vleis nou. Anyway I've gone around the world (Australia, England and United States) and came back to SA. People of South Africa is what I missed most. You never realize that all South Africans (all SA ethnics) are friendly until you go abroad. So, when you are planning to come back for a visit please announce yourself here on Yahoo and we will go and meet you at the airport. I'll be walking with my little tiger lol.

I lived in the UK for 5 years - and the things that I missed most was:
Wednesday evening braai.
Good boerewors
Peppermint Crisp tart
Fanta Grape
Red Grape Tizer
Steers

That is just to name a few - I have been back for 7 months now and the only thing I miss about the UK is the pound.
