Why do parents discriminate amongst their own children.?

The mature loving parents do not. The immature moral lacking ones do. It's highly unfortunate.

Until you're a parent, you won't know the answer to that one. Though you love all your children VERY much, at any given moment, one or more of them will be driving you nuts, while one or more will be being sweet and cute. I have 2 boys, which makes it easier to NOT discriminate. BUT - when my older is acting up, the younger is usually being a darling, and vice versa. They switch places almost by the minute. It's hard NOT to favor the one behaving properly. And truly, it's a good incentive for the one misbehaving to knock it off and act correctly so they get attention too. It's hard to keep it all equal, but you try. And sometimes, one of your kids needs more attention because of a personality trait, or even special needs, etc. It's the toughest job in the world...

Because they always favor one of the children , especially the youngest child . But for the most part they don't sometimes realize what they are doing

They didn't come with a parent manual they are still growing.. they could be ignorant ey? They learn from their parents and pass it off as good parenting to us ahhhhhhhhhhhh

because as human beings it is almost impossible to like two things equally.it is only normal that u prefer one to another

to simply make the kid depressed so they stay longer with the parent.

because they know which one will have a bright future, so they tend to invest on that one. the others can go to hell.
