What about just waiting, then going back to Planned Parenthood? But if you had a positive test, it's almost certain that you are pregnant; pregnancy tests are rarely wrong when they say you're pregnant. If you have a negative after a positive, it usually means you had an early miscarriage.

Have you told planned parenthood that you already took a test and it said positive? If not, then go back and tell them, and they will probably test you again.

It is very rare to get a false positive, so i would think that you have a great chance of being pregnant, especially since you are 6 days late on yourt period. And since you are LATE on your period, then it is not too soon to tell if you are pregnant. Go back to planned parenthood, and tell them you are late on your period and one test said positive. They may have just misunderstood you. If they wont test you again, go to your local health department, clinic, or doctors office. They will test for free.

Once a doctor or clinic worker has determined that you are pregnant, they will refer you to an OB'GYN doctor that you will see throughout your pregnancy. It's very importnant to go to all of your doctos appointments throught your pregnancy to make sure you and they baby are safe and healthy.

About the insurance: Go to your local health department or Family Services department. If you dont know where they are, you can find them in the phonebook under the government pages. You can apply for FREE insurance there, and the insurance will cover all of your doctors appointments and test during your entire pregnancy! Also, ask about WIC. They give free milk, eggs, cheese, juice, and cereal to you each month of your pregnancy, and they will also provide you with free formula and baby food once your baby is born.

Learn as much as you can about pregnancy. Even if it turns out your not pregnant for some reason, then at least you will have the knowledge about pregnancy if you do become pregnant sometime in the future. I recommend the book "What to Expect When Your Expecting." It was very helpful to me during my forst pregnancy.

Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions!

If it's too early, it's too early. You need to wait until planned parenthood will test you. If you had a positive home test, you are pregnant, but one test didn't pick up as much of the hormone a the other. Positive tests rarely lie. I would suggest you start a multivatimin with folic acid ASAP, and visit planned parenthood again when they will test you. Without insurance, I think they are your only safe option.

Call the ob doctors in your area most will just charge you for the pregnancy test and not charge for the office visit since you will not see the doctor at that time. Some doctors of really cheap on their pregnancy test.

it's stressful, but you could just wait and see. OHHH wait, you dont have insurance and you think you are pregnant.

if one test was positive you are probably preganant, it is rare for a pregnancy test to give a false positive. but false negative happen often due to human error and cheap test.

look into "what do i do now that im pregnant. Good Luck and Good Bless!!

there's those crisis pregnancy centers around towns. they'll lecture you though about safe sex and church I think (especially if you aren't married to the father) not that that's a bad thing though. You can get a cheap home test at the dollar store and really they are just as accurate as the expensive ones. Good luck.
