Yes. I knew some pilots from Slovenija and the area surround it who worked in my country. They asked me to teach them English, grammatically correct English. Then within the classes they told me all about where they came from. Very interesting.
That's when I knew about Slovenija and the capital city is Lublijana, isn't it? It was formerly part of Yugoslavia.

Slovenia is in the southeast corner pocket of Europe known as the "Balkans". Slovenia was invaded by Hitler in World War 2 and incorporated into his Empire. It was liberated by Marshall Josip Broz Tito a Communist Partisan in 1945 and he made Slovenia the most prosperous republic within his Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. However, in the 1990's the Yugoslav Communist Party allowed for the first time free elections in Yugoslavia and the peoples of Slovenia voted to succeed from the Yugoslav Federation. After a quick response by the Yugoslav people's army, the international community united to recognize Slovenia as an independent country. Since 1991, Slovenia has enjoyed great success and joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, known as N.A.T.O., and has joined the European Union.
