i did, it wouldn't be so bad if we had lost fair and square but it's been said in the papers today that Ronaldo told Rooney of his plan before the game, if Portugal are so good, why did they have to eliminate one of our best players? they couldn't win through skill, that's why. and that bloody wink Ronaldo gave his manager as if to say "sorted boss" what a ****.

Absolutely 100%. What exactly were their tactics?

1. Dive like idiots
2. Pester refs decision
3. Get Rooney off
4. If unsure see points 1-3

I too saw that wink and the pursed lips as if to say 'Job Done Lads'. His motive all along was to get Rooney sent off, that's why he had to go straight over to the ref like a child.

Ohhh what an annoying ...... :@

Now he thinks he is the 'supreme and almighty' as he was then one that scored the final penalty. Clearly he isn't, he has just shown the world what a slimy, smarmy, cheating greaseball scumbag he really is. For that Rooney hopefully will have something to say along with all England supporters.

England played well, with Hargreaves on superb form

Well Done England We Still Love You

Well Done Ronaldo We All Now Hate You

WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE 'BRAZIL ROCKS'? HOW CAN YOU EVEN TALK ABOUT ENGLISH FOOTBALLERS LOOKING LIKE UGLY MONKEYS WITH BAD TEETH? HAVE YOU ACTUALLY SEEN THE BRAZILIAN SQUAD?

They played soooooo much better than Brazil so how can you say they are crap.

Go get some decent pictures and actually watch the match before you dare come on here and slag them off.....novice

I dont think so. It was a well fought game. Every player will do anything in their power to gain an edge in a game. You have to realize that every sport is also a mental wat. Wayne Rooney did not get the red card because any of the Portugese cheated. Rooney had a mental lapse, and he did something so stupid right in front of the ref. Then although he was wrong he still could not control his temper and pushed Ronaldo. Ronaldo just acted smar. Besides we do not know the words exchanged but most likely they were not words of cursing in front of the ref by Ronaldo to his teammate, but it was probably something like "what in the bloody hell is your problem" Rooney, being so youung, could not control his temper. Come on Brits. Neither the ref nor Ronaldo cost you the game. Two things cost England the game.
1- Wayne Rooney's temper
2- Brits choking again under pressure and not even looking like they believed a victory as soon as the game went to PKs. Look at the players' approaches before they took the PKs, they just did not look confident.

wow Ive never seen such sore losers in my life you guys are a piece of work ... news flash YOU LOST ON PENALTY KICK both sides have an equal amount of players shooting the ball, stop using this Rooney thing as an excuse to feel better for your exit. Your lucky you didn't lose in regular time.

here's the truth as to why all English fans are acting this way...Your nation had just assembled what was supposed to be the best team in years a favorite to win it all you all know that a team like this wont come by for a few years again . Deep inside you guys actually believed you were going to win this tournament. But then guess what happens.. you lose ..how do u cope with that... easy answer..you make excuses.

It seems that after the Netherlands vs Portugal game everyone thinks Portugal don't play fair... you should look to statistics and has Erikson said Portugal plyers do play fair...
And about Rooney... give me a break... what he did has no excuse... England lost but could have won... Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world and it's not his fault that Rooney did that... Stop blaming Portuguese players and think only about what went wrong whith Rooney and England tatic in the game... Portugal deserved to win...
It's my opinion..

So if Ronaldo told Rooney his plan wouldn't Rooney have known how to stop them? Besides you guys lost get over it! England was only this far because a better Ecuador team did not play hard and because Beckham made an amazing shot!

Don't blame Portugal because your out, Rooney the Looney and that excuse of a manager cost you the game, plus the fact England can't do penalties. Watch the Germans, you might learn something.

i believe that we lost the game purely on bad refereeing,

1. Rooney deserved a yellow card absolutely, but not a red, this habit in football of trying to get another player carded should be stamped out by the referees & fifa,

2. Aaron Lennon was tripped in the box and it should have been penalty England with a few minutes to go, the ref chooses not to see it, yet a push in the box is a penalty and the replay showed that, to the ref's embarassment,

3. diving is the equivalent of cheating, you cheat in your job you get fired, you cheat in football and you get away with it, not on, there was all this talk about the refs being stronger on diving throughout this world cup but still the likes of portugal, italy & argentina are still getting away with it time after time, it's time the refs are allowed to make use of technology to show what cheats they truly are & take appropriate action against this so called simulation,

down with cheats, up with football

all i got say is sore loser, sore loser, listen you lost, you lost...

don't make stories or rumors or excuses for your team losing, put your chin up and prove it in 2 years....why is it team so called "power house" teams are always the first ones to whine and cry when they lose, make excuses...

P.s. how did portugal display Poor sportsmanship when rooney is the one stomping on players family jewels and that flamingo looking of a forward england had elbowing Portugals players like he was getting extra bonus points for it...

be a gracious loser and don't cry about....do u see Brasil fans whining and crying no, they were still partying in the streets, maybe you should take some lessons from them on what soccer is all about....

I agree entirely with what you say - I can put up with crybaby tactics that they employed, and I know England were not blameless, But all i can hope is that man utd refuse to sell the vile lickspittle Ronaldo to Madrid and keep him on the same training ground as Rooney and gary Neville, while playing him in the reserves. personally I can't wait till the little **** comes to Bramall Lane.... he'll find out why we're called the Blades.....

IIt's all about winning, I even had a encounter with it at Special Olympics roller hockey games, the other team was using a illegal goalie stick and when I protested I almost got into a fight, lucky for the other coach I didn't.
