Im almost 21 years old and have never had a regular period. I am a vegan but I eat pretty healthy and I play college sports but Ive played sports my whole life so my body should be use to it. I havent had a period since April but that was the first since before Christmas. Ive told my doctor and he didnt seem concerned, should I be? Any suggestions? Should I be worried about infertility in the future?

Talk to a female OB/GYN, and have a panel of tests run on yourself just to make sure. If you plan on ever having children at all (either with or without a partner in your life), it would be best to have your cycles checked and actually see what's going on inside you.

As for male doctors and OB/GYNs being *******, sometimes, unfortunately, it's true. And sometimes women are just as bad. Your best bet would be to find a doctor that you feel comfortable with, regardless of gender.

There's nothing wrong with irregular cycles, as long as there are no underlying medical issues. If you feel something is truly wrong, don't stop until you find it.

As someone who has always had menstral problems(I can go a year on or a year off---no telling when and i'm 28)...seek another opinion...I found out after 3 doctors that I have PCOS....If you feel something is wrong there probably is. As far as infertility the quicker you find out what is going on the less chance there is for anytype of infertility...

I think you should see a different doctor and find out whats going on. You should also tell the doctor who wasnt concerned that he should show enough concern for his patients to explain to them there problems. Doctors like that should not be practicing medicine as far as I see it. Its just wrong.

I would see a doctor (maybe someone else) and get a good exam and maybe blood tests..sometimes young women who are healthy but have scanty or missed periods..could it be your diet? I am not sure but again I would see someone reputable OB/GYN to get a good exam..
