Actually at your age your menstrual periods are going to become irregular and longer or shorter..you are at the age that is called "peri menopausal." Although it is a pain.someday your periods will stop and you will be in menopause..I started as you in my late 40's and by 50 I stopped my periods..

yes, your local health food/organic store should have some great stuff. Soy products are good and so is cats claw. I seriously recommend herbs over prescript's!
