I don't think so. Have you ever met a gay that had a perfect childhood and perfect parents? I think it's parental error.

Even science that suggests there is some innate biological influence on sexual preference doesn't offer your theory as a reason for homosexuality.

Most likely, biology and genetics affects a person's temperament; and certain temperaments in certain environments will be much more likely to result in a child developing homosexual feelings. Like everything else, both nature and nurture probably play a part.

I suppose it's possible. A recent study showed that the brains of lesbians were more like that of a straight guy. The brain of a gay guy corresponded more to a female. Who knows what happens to the cells when they are dividing and mutating?

Yes, there have been some studies that say that this is what could have happened. Women carry only x chromosomes. Men carry X and Y. Sometimes that Y chromosome is weak or doesn't work correctly and the result could be homosexuality. You are smart to have figured that out.
