Kristin Shepard, the younger sister of JR's wife, Sue Ellen.
In the season two (not including the original Mini-series) cliffhanger (episode #54, "A House Divided"), JR was shot by an unknown person in his office at Ewing Oil. In episode #58 ("Who Done It?") the next season, it was revealed the the shooter was Kristin.
Seasons 1-5 are available on DVD by Warner Brothers.
