Is there a list of the F buttons somewhere?

What do all the F buttons do? Like f5 refreshes the page, where can I find a listing of the others??

those are just some of the shortcut keys, it differs by which browser you are using.

The 'F' buttons vary from application to application, and thus each app would have a different meaning for most of them. E.g., F5 refreshes page in Internet Explorer (and most other browsers), but locks the screen in Lotus Notes (an email client).

You can be sure of one thing however - F1 is almost universal button for help!!

well the purpose of F1, F2, F3 and so on is that all different programs can use these buttons for different purposes...the f before the number stands for function and therefor implys u can have 12 different functions for every different application. (F1 stands for Function One) So the only way to find out the function of a certain application is to look it up online (takes forever) or to just press the button and see what it does.
P.S. Just to blow ur mind even more...the alt key changes all of the functions to something else (most of the time) and so does alt + Ctrl. so F1 can be a different function than Alt + F1 and Ctrl + Alt+ F1 can be completly different as well...
