Fishing line. 8-10lb test should work fine. Tie a knot around the tag, snug the line up tight, then just yank on both ends. Apply rubbing alchol/peroxide as nessecary.

Don't cut it like dumbo Lampoilman

you get a piece of cotton and a friend

you pull the skin tag gently and your friend ties the cotton round the base as tight as they reasonably can.

tomorrow or the day after it will drop off and you don't get infection in it bcoz there is no wound

Skin tags are simply cut off with surgical scissors. If you feel like playing doctor you could do self surgery. Watch out for infection and other complications for ANY doit yourself medicine.

Easiest thing in the world. Take a thread (or a hair off your head) and tie it tightly around the skin tag, after a couple of days it turns black and falls off. THe thread cuts off the blood flow and the thing dies. Don't try to snip it off, there's a blood vessel and nerve in there and it will hurt like h*ll!!

There are a number of ways depending on where it is, what it is and how large it is. See your Doctor. She or he will know how best to deal with it.
