It's got to be there somewhere, the taskbar could be on any edge of the screen hidden, just move the cursor to every edge and it will pop out at you then right click the taskbar and unlock it and then make it so it doesn't hide on you and then move it back to the bottom and make a separate user's account in control panels for your daughter to be a limited account and you make a password for your account and don't let her use it again lol.

how did u start this up then? learn to toggle with shortcut buttons in case ur mouse goes next.. ur tray icon is gone try to bring the bottom of the tray it up click and drag the double arrow u will see it could be way way low down under thr tray area.. lock the comp

Your computer task bar is in the hidden mode. Take the cursor to the EXTREME bottom (where it stop going any further) & then right click > 'lock taskbar'.

yeah, press the Windows key. the task bar might be pushed at the bottom part of the screen, try dragging it up with the mouse

Yes, have you ever saw the commercial on t.v. called the "geek squad? they will solve all of your computer problems. I quess you can just call information for the number. It might be 1-800 geek squad. try it.
