there is a bar called FELS NAPA (it is located in the laundry detergent aisle in stores) it stops the itch. also works on poison ivy.

No, but the laundry SHEETS like Bounce repell mosquitoes really well. Not the actual laundry detergent itself though..

I would not recommend putting detergent directly on your skin. However, as others have recommend try washing your clothes with certain detergent or buy the stuff in the laundry aisle that repels bugs.

Stick to free & clear detergent (for washing your clothes, not putting on your skin). If you have a lot of bites, that detergent will irritate your skin the least. If you want to avoid bites, then the fragrance-free stuff is best.

I have used a spray made for dogs to not itch. It came in a blue pump bottle.
A friend came back from the beach covered in sand flea bites and th worked very well.

The best thing I know of is (don't laugh) hemorrhoid cream. It works for anything that itches and is red.
