My use of this unit is mostly high altitudes and to physically change the jets in the carb.everytime I use it is not very convienent. I was hoping making an ajustment to richen or lean the air mixture would take care of it. There is a screw on the carb. that physicaly is limited to move a 1/8 turn. Could that be the answer?

Honda, as well as other Four cycle engine manufactures like Briggs, Techumseh, Kohler etc. all have non adjusable carburators to comply with the EPA emissions act. What you will need to do is order a high altitude jet kit for your specific engine. On the side of the engine stamper into the aluminum is going to be some letters, and numbers kind of like (AEJA-64586) and a code of three or four letters that are really hard to see.
After you find these numbers that are ACTUALY ON the engine contact a local Honda small engine repair/sales place to order the kit.
It is going to be a hassle to change the jets, but you CAN do it.
After removing the carburator bowl, use a stubby flat tip screw driver to unscrew the main jet inside the throat of the carburator.
Ahh.....just take it to a shop. They do this stuff for a living. It will cost you about $70 in labor. But it will work right for you. Good luck.
