Probably because when a bug bites you, they are either pumping some form of secretion into the wound or they are sucking blood out. When you bite yourself you are only putting teeth marks in yourself. If you bit hard enough to draw blood, it too would cause a red swollen mark

It is probably because bugs have a smaller mouth if u set that size of a mouth than you will also get a bump like that

it is because you are probably alergic to bug bites!

notice if it happens when you get bit by a certain bug! if so its an allergy!

they use this little straw like thing to poke ur skin and suck ur blood or something.and numb it i guess
