when I was a teenager I noticed that my palms would start peeling during the summer mos. And my palms would itch a lot and hurt when I scratched my hands as I grew older, I started to apply hand cream whenever the same problem arose. I got so used to this nagging problem I had that one day I mentioned it to my Dad and he told me that it was hereditary since his Dad, my grandfather used to have the same problem. As I grew older at the age of 40 the peeling of hands disappeared and it never came back. Some of my kids inherited the same nuisance, that I had. How I wish that it never should have happened to my kids.

Don't try to drink dryness away. Many beauty books and glam our magazines recommend drinking, at least seven of eight glass of water per day to keep the skin hydrated and prevent dryness. Don't be live it. If you're totally dehydrated, your skin will become dry, and may peel off, The best way to get water in the skin is by soaking in it about 15 minutes soak in lukewarm water not hot water, The rule of thumbs for dry skin id. Bathe less and use cooler water

My grandpa had this and it was very serious, it was literally layers of his skin peeling off. He had to see a dermatologist and spend time in the hospital because it got infected. Now, if your skin is peeling like that, I'd suggest you get to a dermatologist right quick.
If it's just from callouses though, the skin will slough off eventually as you shower, don't worry too much about it and try not to pick at it.

Wear gloves if you are using in kind of cleaning agent. If you already are wearing gloves, it could be that you are allergic to latex which is very common. It sounds like a mild case of ecxema. Exfoliate your hands with a scrub and then apply a VERY rich moisturizer before you go to bed. If you can stand it sleep with gloves on after you've applied the moisturizer.

Your whole hand? My grandma's ands and feet were peeling after she had her surgerys. But she thinks that she is allergic to the die they put in her body..Maybe you're allergic to something? Go to a docter and see what they say but if they don't know, wear gloves for sishwashing [if the soap hurts your hands] and orther protective things if it makes you mmore comfortable. Good luck

Use lotion. ALso you may be allergic to a hand soap you are using. Try a different-hypo-allergenic brand. Are you a health professional or food handler? Latex allergies often present this way. If you wear latex gloves for any reason try switching to acrylic.

Put vegetable shortening on your hands with cotton gloves when you go to bed. When you wash your hands use moisturizing soaps and avoid harsh cleansers. Wear rubber gloves when you wash dishes or use cleaning solutions. Keep your hands lotioned.

Eucerin cream is typically good - put on that cream at night with cotton gloves (while you sleep) may help - if not check with a dermatologist - it could be a skin disease (not to scare you)
