I have a 60 inch LCD projection TV and am moving but threw away the original packing materials and box. What's the best way to pack a 60 inch tv for moving so it won't get damage.

I would go to the local lumber yard, and buy the least expensive 2x4's, along with some nails. Wrap the TV in lots of bubble wrap, tape securely, and crate it up. Insure it.

Unless you are very handy, packing a big TV is not for amateurs. I own a UPS Store so I know what I'm talking about. It needs to be crated very carefully with lots of packing material to protect it in transit.

I would pack pillows and blankets that you have to move anyway..around it. You could even tape them around there. The more the better. Remember, it's the screen you really need to worry about.
