that is all part of the game... just in general... you don't even have to really like the guy it sometimes just relieves the boredom... at work everyone does it light heartedly to make the day a little more interesting

I think they like to get the guys to look at them even when they are not interested in the guy so yes some times it is just for fun

A lot of girls get the idea in their had that they have no value or worth unless a guy tells them they do. So they flirt to get that. A guy says 'nice hair' and she feels it's worth it as she spent hours getting ready.
It's the same thing at work where the woman only wants prase from her male co-workers, to show her self she can 'cut it' at work.

Depends on the situation....when I was single, I flirted in order to get a man.....now that I have a wonderful boyfriend, I flirt just for fun...or to be friendly.....
