I actually believe there is a taste to water, the different types and brands such as tap and bottled water or aquafina and donald spring water taste different from eachother. I don't think you can describe the actually taste of water because that would be like describing what love is..It changes from person to person. But personally, I love natural water that you drink from running water deep in the mountains! It's the best!

The usual tastes consist of plastic (bottled water), heavy metals (tap), rust (tap), chlorine (tap), minerals (tap or spring or mineral), bacteria if any (unpleasant odor). The water itself has very little if any taste...not to be a smartass but I think water tastes like water! What is in it determines its overall taste. I have excellent tap water. A little bit of metal when I first turn it on, otherwise nearly tasteless with a hint of minerals.

Pure Fresh Water from Antartica tastes cold and clean thats about it besides that all water tastes wet :)

I would describe it as tasteless, and of course colorless. Any taste or color in it would be due to some type of additive.

Depends where you are. In general it can be quenching, wet and satisfying. My water is not so great, it smells like rotten eggs usually! Dang well water!
