i have found a pink and yellow moth and it has layed yellow eggs.

The hatch time is highly variable. The eggs of gypsy moths and many other species are laid in summer and don't hatch until the following spring (ref. 1). Others like some fruit moths hatch quite quickly, 6 to 20 days after laying depending on temperature (ref. 2).
