FRANCE WON! They played exceptional. It's true that Brazil wasn't at its best, but the French made a great game and deserved to win

You are right, France won, and Brazil didn't play better because they didn't know how to play against such the great team they found in the field and they were not expecting. They (Brazilian) had confidence when the game began, they (French) felt respect!! But the story changed during the game when they started to fear and the others played a lot better... there is no need to specify names in this last sentence, is it? France won, and even Pele said to the press that he had a bad feeling, even before the game started. Anyways, to those who still feel sad 'bout Brazil "loosing", let me tell you that the only time, in a World Cup, that Brazil beat France, was when Pele was in his best times (Brazil 5:2 France).

All Brazil could muster was a few dives (actually very nice dives) from of all players, Ronaldinho and the Fat boy from brazil.
Oh and just one shot on net !!! See the statistics and better yet, see the game! You will see that the French played very well. Winning the ball most of the time and being totally outclassed! Read newspaper review from well known soccer experts!
I predicted the outcome and predicted that Zizou would be a factor but even i was surprised! What an amazing display!
Brazil was playing like crap the whole tournament! They stunk!
If they play like that again against Portugal they will win easily. Although i don't think portugal stinks like Brazil does! HAHA!!!

It is a bit of both. It was a midfield game. 3 shots on goal the whole game, two by France and one by Brazil, Zidane controlled the game really well, and despite the fact that Brazil has plenty of stars on this night one star stole the show and that was Zidane. By the way I truly dislike the French and I cerainly hope they lose against Portugal. But thus far it is what it is.

The one goal scored was due to a defensive lapse by Brazil. France, to their credit, took advantage of it. You could see that it was a pretty easy goal for Henry. I think that he was surprised that it was right there for him.
Brazil had played good defense throughout the tournament, except for yesterday. If the game had gone to a shootout, Brazil would have won.

You ever heard the comment about the guy who always fenced with the best fencer in the world? He always lost, but if he ever faced the THIRD best fencer in the world, that person was in trouble! Both teams are excellent and played at a level that is not even approachable by most such teams. Competing well is always a victory!
