Racism isnt just all the negatives that others refer to. Example of it is I live in Minnesota. I am about 2 hours south of Minneapolis/St.paul. When I was around 15 we saw abunch of black kids my age sellling candy bars at the mall. I asked where they were from and they said the cities so I then asked why they were here selling since it was 2 hours away and they said that they sell 4 times the amount of candy bars here because we are racist and want to show we are not by buying there candy.
That being said racism isnt based only on hate. If your decisions are based on race, good or bad, you are a racist. If you are nicer because you dont want offend someone of a different race then you are racist. If you notice there color, you are racist.

In my experience People often confuse bigot's with racists. Bigot's and racist are an awful a lot alike. I myself am a bigot but I judge everyone fairly and despise those who come here illegally and take away from those who want to come here so bad that they save up for alot of years, Then when they get here, it then takes years to become a citizen but the other's just come with out any legality and take away their resource's the good ones need to start over. If they want to come here so bad why not fix their conutry to make it better? It is becasue they are lazy.... That is a bigot someone who focuses on one type of person .

A racist hates everyone and no one . By today's standards everyone is both. I really don't like people who don't help others have a fair shot. Most people hate Black's and call them Niggers. Oddly enough they them selves are the idiot's because ****** means to be Ignorant. you have probably heard of terms like ******* and beaner which can be offensive to a lot of people those terms are based in truth it is a shame that those terms are applied in a horrible manner . Not that there is another why really.


To be a racist or a biggot you just need to hate those WHO are not like you I.E. gays, black, Chinese , Mexicans, etc.

Well, there's really no sure way to tell whether or not you're racist, but do you have negative thoughts about people from different cultures? If you do, then perhaps you are. In my opinion, racism is stupid because we are all God's children and the color of our skin doesn't change who we are on the inside. We're all connected, so there's no point in being racist because somehow you're related to that person anyway! Please don't be racist, it's really not a good quality.

Everyone is a racist. If you prefer anyone of any race for any reason you ar a racist. If you think nerroes are the best atheletes ....you are racist..If you think caucasions have the lightest skin. ..You are racist. You may not want to be but at some time you wil be.

Probably if you are asking this question, you are off to a good start. If you vehemently deny it, then you could have racist tendencies. Personally, I see you are Irish and like Arsenal. So ask yourself how you feel about all that racist crap that was going on in soccer recently. If you owned Arsenal, would race of a person influence your hiring decisions?

I dont think racism is just about 'hating' people who have different skin colours to you. Being racist IS about hating a black man for being black, or a white woman for being white, but it is also about how you explain difference between groups of people...do black boys perform poorly at school because they are lazy and stupid, or because the school system is sytemically racist? Do you find yourself saying things like " I like asians, but i really hate it when they..." " Whites are alright, but they shouldn't expect to be able to..." or "Blacks keep going on about the minority issue...."
This is what psychologists call modern racism...more socially acceptable than the traditional racism of "I hate all X" but just, if not more damaging due to its subtle nature.

someone just said that as we all know, only white people are racist. that is just not true...it came from a white person, so they must be projecting.

i also think that racism does not only involve hating someone of another race. it involves anyone who is different from you for any reason, be it becaue they have less money, they are gay, etc.

if you find yourself thinking about race, then you are aware of raism. if oyu find yourself doing something differently becaue of racism, then you are a racist.
