I've just watched the extras on the King Kong dvd and it lasted longer than movie!!

yea some extras are great, others are really boring and drag on

Depends.Many are better than the film just like your King Kong ,it depends on whether the Director etc can be bothered to put something great together for DVD - Peter Jackson does ,his best efforts being those for his Tolkein trilogy films.
Other DVDs are just sparsely featured - often with crap "making of" features that aren`t at all but are just an excuse to show film clips.

Not really. And every DVD needs a button that says 'Just f***ing play' so you don't have to watch all the bumf they keep putting on the beginning of the main disc. Now I think about, I can't think of any of my 'bonus' discs I've actually watched. They're just trying to make it sound like we;'re getting a better deal so they can cahrge extra for the 2 disc one. At least Dick Turpin had the common decency to wear a mask when he robbed people!

Depends. the extras on Jimmy Carrs last DVD were quite good.

it depends if i like the movie the extras on the hills have eyes remake were pretty decent and the clerks x DVD had remarkable extras

I like them, especially the actors' commentary and the outtakes. The actors' commentary on the Grey's Anatomy Vol. 1 DVD is particularly amusing.

some yes some no i like to see the deleted scenes and music videos but sometimes its just crap but 9 times out of 10 its all good

I like the commentaries. I'm not that bothered about 'making of' extras.
