Well I would hate to bust your bubble. But many colleges look at the ability to pay. When it comes to your GPA it's going to be the last few years in high school. But again I know people who are much older and decied to enter college and most have not been in school for years. Now if your looking at Ivy League School's I'd be lying if I told you anything. I have not a clue. Most of college is up to you if you get in. Meeting deadlines and having a decent GPA in your Junior and Senior year of high school, but then again College and High School are two different worlds. You may succeed in High School and do horrible in college visa-virsa
As I have been going to school on and off for years I have obtained over 200 credits. Some great others not so great. If you have core subjects and are trying for a degree in that area those are always looked at the most.

It depends upon what type of college you want to go to. Open colleges accept everyone that has the money. All other colleges will look at your high school transcript which has all your grades since your freshman year through your junior year. They will also look at extracurricular activites and your SAT/ACT scores. Also if your grades are below par for the school a large cash donation from your parents has been shown to help.

All of them plus your clubs and extra curricular activities. If you spell like that when you write your college essay, you will not be accepted. Try a community college. They aren't as demanding.

If you have to ask, suspect you are going to have a hard time finding a college to take you!
