It's not nice of you to pretend you are someones friend and not be. Of course you should tell her, or just don't have anything to do with her anymore. If you're not doing anything bad, she can't spread bad things about you. And even if she tries no one will believe her.

If she thinks you are her friend and you are not, then the bad things she would spread are true.
If you are not her friend, own up and tell her... but first, you might want to consider, would it be so bad to be her friend?

well..i would. i mean, i'm all about honesty...but keep in mind that rumors are just rumors and most aren't true. i'm sure if she starts to spread rumors people will realize she's the ignorant one for even resorting to such a thing.
