DO NOT PUT ANTIFREEZE IN YOUR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. ANTIFREEZE GOES IN YOUR RADIATOR.

Now on to your question, assuming you are talking about your car. First check to see if the compressor is working. Start the car, turn on A/C, open hood, listen for an occasional click sound and the RPM's of your engine dripping slightly.
If this is not happening, check/replace A/C fuse(s)
If fuse(s) are OK, take your car to a repair shop to have them check/recharge the refrigerant level.

first thing to check is the condensor coil. see if the fins surrounding the tubing are clogged with dirt and debris.(condensor coil is the one on the outside of your unit.) if they are dirty you can purchase a fin comb from most local haedware stores. these bombs come in different sizes, depending on the space between the fins, but are usually inexpensive. you can also try a vacuum cleaner. also compressed air directed thru the coil opposite of the normal air flow. the next spot to look at is the evaporator coil. this is the coil on the inside of a window or wall unit. if you have central air it is located in the discharge ductwork coming off your furnace. while the unit is running, check to see if the coil or the tubing running into it are frosted or iced up. this is usually a sure sign that you are low on refrigerant. if this is the case you will have to call in a professional repairperson. one other check to be made. turn off unit and let it sit for a while (15 min. to 30 min.) turn the thermostat up so the unit cannot cool. turn the unit on and slowly turn the thermostat down while listening for the compressor to start. with a central unit you will have to have someone outside while this is done. with a window or wall unit you'll be able to hear it standing in front of it.it will make a distinct sound and will also cause the unit to vibrate. if the compressor isn't operating call a pro.a good source for a reputable repair company is your local plumbers and pipefitters union, or your local electric utility company. be careful there are a lot of ripoffs out there. remember to unplug or deenergize the unit before attempting to clean it. good luck. hope this helped

lol, i think your better off calling someone that trying to fix it yourself, air-conditioners are complex and known to start fires if you mess around with it.

BTW if its blowing hot air, i would really recommend not using it and if you can, unplug it, till you can get someone to look at it (or buy a new one).

If this is a Window AC, check to see if Compressor is running, if not check the Switch, if it is, probably low Freon. No place to add any.

It has either lost its coolant through leakage (Freon) or the compressor has seized up. Replace Freon, and you are OK. Replacing a compressor is very, very expense.
