Developing relationships with the buyers of your customer companies. Do everything to ease thier buying experience. If you make thier job easier they will remember that and come back to you. Building this customer base of repeat business that associates itself with your name will be the single most important factor in your future advancement. Your boss wants to see a consistent growth in the bottom line that you produce for him.
