take a ice cube and hold it against it, then peel it off.
This also works if you get gum stuck in carpet.
peanut butter in your hair if you get it stuck there as well.
I have two kids believe me I have to get odd stuff out of everything, including play-dough out of carpet and clothes.

Try putting peanut butter on it and then scraping it off - or put the shoes in the freezer and chip off the gum when it becomes frozen.

Spudric first top answer. The only problem is that the chewing gum tends to lose its flavour.

Put the shoe in the freezer and then used a butter knife to take it off. It should come off easily. You can put your shoe in a plastic bag and leave it in the freezer for a few hours before you take it out and go at it with the butter knife.

Try using Avon's Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil. It is inexpensive & will easily remove almost anything sticky. I use it all around the house, as an insect repellant & it keeps my skin from being so dry. If you don't have an Avon Representative, go to Avon.com to find one.

Either put them in the freezer, or use ice spray for either dog poop or muscle strains. It'll chip off with a stick when frozen.
