Cause everything is round, if acted upon only by gravity and other stuff coming in bits and pieces.
There is always a center of gravity of any heavenly body, and if it's out in space all of its stuff will try to reach the center of gravity.

If you sent your car into outer space, and then you followed it with an isostatic pulverizer, and you were able to quickly pulverize it and then get away quickly, your car would become round. You would have to be quick about it. You could have someone taking the video. And you could title it "How My Car Got Round" You could come back to Earth and make copies and sell them for ten dollars each. Eventually you could buy a new car.

Why are wheels round? And why did mankind created wheels. Would a square wheel work? I really think that God created the planets round and circular because it is the best creations. Maybe the whole universe is round and circular rotating in a circular or in a rounded path. Or maybe it is in concentricity. If it is in concentricity then there must be a center or a pivot point in the universe. I really do not know only astronomists know best.

God is bound by eternal law. As such God is bound by certain rules of physics. All of the plants, moons, ect. are held in orbit by a form of magnetic pull. This causes a sort of round shape to any mass. The Earth is not exactly round, but more of an oblong shape due to the pull. Take water drops when they drip they look round due to gravitational pull. In reality they again are more oblong. Now the question remains did God create the universe? I belive strongly that He did. And He used laws that humans just can't fathom yet.

Self-attraction/Gravity is why bodies in space tend towards sphericalness. If a body has an internal force acting upon it that is pulling inwards, it will become ball-shaped. Maybe your God invented gravity, but his help is not needed to make planets round(ish).

Gravity!! the same reason a water drop (without the distortions of outside forces) is round. In truth the earth is slightly oval.Due to the random collisions/coalescence of its particles.

Because GOD did not want religeous zellits to cut them selves on the corners. Oh and just so you know the earth isn't round, but don't tell anyone at church! They will send you home like you are dumb.

Because God made it that way so he could laugh his *** off when people ask why is the earth round.

Last time I checked, God didn't post on these boards.

Back in 1995, I was dating a really cool guy. He was not a Christian. I asked God to change his heart. Dude broke up with me. I haven't questioned God since.

Good Question,

So that you can never fall in a dark hole, wherever you are on its surface.

Planets are round so they can bounce without damaging the surface they bounce upon.

because it is formed from dust in space, which was pulled by gravitational force among them. Since gravitational force is isotropic, the dust should gather into a spherical globe.
