One game against a team can't tell you which team is better, and two lucky games in a row is a pretty poor streak. However, I think that all of 2002 and the groups round of this WC demonstrate that France is definitely not the best team.

ARGENTINA FOR SURE IS STILL THE BEST TEAM IN THIS WC 2006, SURE THEY ARE OUT BUT A VERY YOUNG TEAM.... FRANCE IN THE OTHER HAND WAS LOOKING OLD AND SLOW IN FIRST ROUND PLAY, BUT WITH ZIDANE STARTING TO SHOW HIS MAGIC ON THE FIELD THAT'S WHAT TURNED FRANCE AROUND....IF IT WASN'T FOR ZIDANE FRANCE WOULD BE OUT IN THE ROUND OF 16...HE IS TRULY A GREAT PLAYER.

Without people like viera, henry,malouda, makelele, thuram, zidane, wiltord etc. You guys would be nothing. Just count your luck that none of those players played for their original countries.
